Daniel Castano, PGA

Daniel Castano is a Class-A PGA member and a successful instructor and coach. Daniel graduated from Methodist University with a Class - A certification from the PGA of America. He has experience teaching at resorts and private courses including Trump National Doral, Spring Brook Country Club, and Stanton Ridge Golf & Country Club.

In 2018 and 2019, Daniel was nominated by the NJPGA for the Youth Player Development of the Year Award and in 2019 was nominated for the NJPGA Assistant of the Year Award. Most recently, Daniel was nominated by his peers in the PGA for Teacher of the Year Award in NJPGA for 2023.  

Daniel's teaching philosophy is methodical and effective whilst, delivered in simplicity to cater to students of all skills and backgrounds: "There's no single way to swing a golf club with success, my job is finding the method and gameplan that fits each student for their abilities and raise awareness in their weaknesses/strengths. Using film, technology, and teaching aids for students to understand what happens in their swing is a component I use consistently to be able to make progress. Everyone has their own capabilities and limitations. With these parameters in mind, I educate my students on cause & effect fundamentals that don't simply teach you how to hit a golf ball well, but how to play the game of golf in a more enjoyable and fulfilling manner."
